Business internationalization – The key to success
ZAGREB, Thursday, November 23, 2006 – Croatia is only SEE country in which top managers see public administration, education and the legal system reform as top areas for action. This show results of the study "Croatia 2016 – Perspective from top manager's views" that was presented today at the grand ball room of the Croatian journalist society by National Competitiveness Council and the company Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
The study was based on interviews with leading Croatians top managers, that have proposed necessary measures for the improvement of the Croatian economy in the next 10 years. Beside Croatian managers study shows the comparative overview of the measures for economy development in Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Rumania proposed by their managers.
"Croatian managers are more optimistic about EU than managers from other CEE countries and compared to other CEE Croatia has the strongest perceived dependency on EU of all CEE countries. They see EU enlargement totally different than other interviewed countries.
Croatia thinks that EU should accept new members and other countries think that there should not be any further EU enlargement, until all intern conflicts are solved" said dr. Vladimir Preveden, Managing Director of Roland Berger Zagreb Office. At the presentation have participate also members of the National Competitiveness Council, Dr. Mladen Vedriš that held very interesting speech and Goran Radman, who hosted the hole event.
