Corporate communication utilizing Internet opportunities

Corporate communication is an essential management tool. Previously state-of-the-art technological innovations (Internet, mobile communication) are becoming the norm. For example, the Internet allows interaction with all stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, investors, applicants, media, etc.).

Such interaction can create relationships that produce loyalty among the stakeholders. Information flows can be bundled using Internet portals. This represents an opportunity for Croatian companies to catch up on best practices. They first need to quickly establish best practice know-how and learn about the opportunities offered by new technologies. This should be followed by a top-down corporate communication strategy.

Ultimately, the transparency of the changes and their success will result in employee buy-in.
