Tajana Šiždrak

Tajana Šiždrak was born in Zagreb in 1979. After graduating from the School of Applied Art and Design in 1997, Tajana enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (faculty of graphics).

She studied under Prof. Ante Kuduz and graduated in the class of 2005. Following various prominent group exhibitions at Zagreb galleries, Tajana had her first independent exhibition at the "Vision" gallery in 2003 in Zagreb.

She has provided illustrations for Večernji list, the Croatian travel guide "Hrvatski Hosteler" and illustrated books such "Pinokio" (Carlo Collodi) and "Branka" (August Šenoa).

Her work is currently being exhibited in Johannesburg (South Africa) and she has an upcoming exhibition in Melville. The artist received special honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2002.
